Pace of Play
All groups are required to maintain pace with the group ahead of them and play in no more than 4-1/2 hours. Please enjoy Briar Ridge at a pace that allows everyone else to enjoy it as well.
The golf shop and the informational signs will inform each group of any cart restrictions for the day. If carts are allowed off the paths, players will be asked to cross the fairway at a 90 degree angle. REGARDLESS OF THE CART RESTRICTIONS, THE CARTS ARE TO REMAIN ON THE CART PATHS AROUND THE TEES AND GREENS.
Practice facilities are available and balls are provided for these areas. However, due to maintenance of these facilities, these areas may be closed temporarily from time to time.
Please remember to repair ball marks on the greens and replace divots, as well as using the seed bottles provided on each cart and the divot caddies on the tees. Fresh seed bottles are available at the Halfway House and the Cart Building.
Guests are encouraged to make both lunch and dinner reservations in our Dining Rooms so that we may serve you better. Informal attire, including appropriate golf attire, is acceptable in these rooms.
For Men: A golf shirt (tucked in) with a collar (or turtleneck) and slacks, Bermuda shorts, or walking shorts. Appropriate denim is allowed.
For Ladies: A suitable blouse or shirt and slacks, skirt, Bermuda shorts, or walking shorts. Appropriate denim is allowed.
Please use cell phones discretely. The use of vibration or manner mode is required on the golf course and in the dining areas.
Soft Spike Facility
To improve the playing conditions of the golf course, metal spikes are not permitted. Briar Ridge can change your metal spikes to soft spikes in the Men’s Locker Room. Please allow sufficient time for this to be accomplished.
Please use the bag drop which is located in front of the Clubhouse for outings and in front of the Cart Building during the rest of the week. The attendants will assist you with your clubs and directions to the Pro Shop.
Locker rooms are available with a locker room attendant on duty most times. There are locker rooms for both men and women with shower facilities.
